Alfred Elton van Vogt, a science fiction author, recently died. He was 87. Van Vogt was the Grand Master of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America in 1995. He is known for his books: "Slan", "The War against Rulls", "Computerworld", "The Weapon Shops of Isher" and "The Weapon Makers."
