Hydra Ethernet CardThis is a standard 10 megabit ethernet card that plugs into a ZorroII/III expansion slot on an Amiga.
It provides 10-base-2 through the BNC port as well as there is an AUI port. The AUI port can be adapted to 10-base-T (RJ45) by using a transceiver.
There is one set of jumpers to worry about on the Hydra card, the ones labelled "Ethernet/Cheapernet".
All the jumpers set to Ethernet will tell it to use the AUI port.
All the jumpers set to Cheapernet will tell it to use the 10-base-2 (BNC) port.
The driver you need is the hydra.device and that goes in the standard devs:networks/ drawer on your Amiga.
