AmigaOS 4.0 - About OS4 - Commands

TIME Preferences Editor
Purpose: To set the system clock.
Format: TIME [EDIT | SAVE] [PUBSCREEN=<public screen name>]
[SCREEN] [SHOWHINTS=YES | NO] [SHOWWEEK] [LEFT=<coord> | LEFT | CENTER | MOUSE | AUTO] [TOP=<coord> | TOP | CENTER | MOUSE | AUTO] [WIDTH=<size> | MAXSIZE | MINSIZE | AUTO] [HEIGHT=<size> | MAXSIZE | MINSIZE | AUTO] [FONTNAME=<font name>] [FONTSIZE=<font size>]

TIME without any arguments or with the EDIT argument opens the Time Preferences editor.

The SAVE option causes the current system time to be saved to the battery backed-up clock, similar to SETCLOCK SAVE.

The PUBSCREEN option can be used to specify a <public screen name> where the Time Preferences editor should open.

The SCREEN can be used to force the Time Preferences editor to open in full-screen mode.

The SHOWHINTS=YES option can be used to display usage information if you position the cursor over selectable items.

The SHOWWEEK option can be used to show the week number for each week.

The LEFT, TOP, WIDTH and HEIGHT options can be used to customise where the Time Preferences editor window should appear on the screen and the size of the window.

The FONTNAME and FONTSIZE options can be used to specify the font and font size to be used in the window.

Example:

3.OS4:> TIME will open the Time Preferences window.
