AmigaOS 4.0 - About OS4 - Commands

Purpose: To load the Monitor drivers from DEVS:.
Format: LOADMONDRVS [FROM <path>] [ [EXCEPT] <exceptions>]
Template: FROM/K, EXCEPT/K
LOADMONDRVS is a little program which replaces the following lines of the startup-sequence: IF EXISTS DEVS:Monitors

C:List >NIL: DEVS:Monitors/~(#?.info|VGAOnly) TO T:M LFORMAT "DEVS:Monitors/%s"
Execute T:M
C:Delete >NIL: T:M
with C:LoadMonDrvs The FROM <path> argument can be used to specify an alternative directory from which to load the monitor drivers.

The EXCEPT <exceptions> or simply <exceptions>argument prevents the specified driver(s) from being loaded.

Example 1:

3.OS4:> LOADMONDRVS FROM Work:Testing LoadMonDrvs will start all drivers placed in Work:Testing.

Example 1:

3.OS4:> LOADMONDRVS CVision3D|NTSC LoadMonDrvs will start all drivers placed in DEVS:Monitors EXCEPT CVision3D and NTSC.
