AmigaOS 4.0 - About OS4 - Commands

INTERNET Preferences Editor
Purpose: To specify the preferences for all Internet connections.
Format: INTERNET [PUBSCREEN=<public screen name>] [CREATEICONS=YES | NO]
Path: SYS:Prefs/Internet
INTERNET without any arguments opens the Intermet Preferences editor. However, the Internet Preferences editor DOES NOT provide any facilities to configure your personal Internet connections. These are setup using tools in the 'Internet' drawer on the Workbench partition. The procedures for doing this are documented here.

The PUBSCREEN option can be used to specify a <public screen name> where the Internet Preferences editor should open.

If CREATEICONS=YES is specified, icon will be created for the saved files, otherwise no icons will be created.

Instructions for using the Internet Preferences editor can be found here.

Example 1:

3.OS4:> INTERNET will open the Internet Preferences window.

Example 2:

3.OS4:> INTERNET CREATEICONS=YES will open the Internet Preferences window, and any configurations saved will be created with icons.
