AmigaOS 4.0 - About OS4 - Commands

DUMPDEBUGBUFFER AmigaDOS
Purpose: To dump the kernel's Debug output to the standard output.
Format: DUMPDEBUGBUFFER [<file>] [CLEAR]
Template: FILE, CLEAR/S
Path: C:DUMPDEBUGBUFFER
DUMPDEBUGBUFFER is a simple program that will dump the kernel's Debug output to the standard output (your Shell).

When invoked without a parameter, the debug buffer is dumped to the shell window (i.e. standard output).

With the <file> argument, you can save the buffer to a file.

The CLEAR argument will additionally clear the buffer.

3.OS4:> DUMPDEBUGBUFFER debug.log
dumps the kernel's debug output to debug.log in the current directory.

Example 2:

3.OS4:> DUMPDEBUGBUFFER debug.log CLEAR
dumps the kernel's debug output to debug.log in the current directory and clears the buffer.
