AmigaOS 4.0 - About OS4 - Commands

DEPTHTOFRONT Commodity
Purpose: To bring a window to the front of the screen.
Format: DEPTHTOFRONT [CX_PRIORITY <priority>] [USEBUTTON] [QUALIFIER <qualifier>] [USEPUBSCREENNAMES] [MAXLENGTH <length>] [SORTSCREENS] [SORTWINDOWS] [SWAPSCREENS] [SWAPWINDOWS] [SUPPORTNOTITLE]
Template: CX_PRIORITY/N/K, USEBUTTON/K, QUALIFIER/K, USEPUBSCREENNAMES/S, MAXLENGTH/K/N, SORTSCREENS/S, SORTWINDOWS/S, SWAPSCREENS/S, SWAPWINDOWS/S, SUPPORTNOTITLE/S
Path: SYS:Utilities/Commodities/DepthToFront
DEPTHTOFRONT enables you to bring a window to the front of the screen by double-clicking on it. You do not need to select the window's depth gadget.

The CX_PRIORITY <priority> argument sets the priority of DEPTHTOFRONT in relation to all of the other Commodity Exchange programs. (This is the same as entering a CX_PRIORITY=<priority> Tool Type in the icon's Information window.) All of the Commodity Exchange programs are set to a default priority of 0. If you specify a <priority> higher than 0, DEPTHTOFRONT will take priority over any other Commodity Exchange program.

To start DEPTHTOFRONT, double-click on its icon. It does not open a window. (Remember, you can also put DEPTHTOFRONT in the WBStartup drawer so that it automatically starts each time you boot.)

To exit DEPTHTOFRONT when it has been started from the Shell, press Ctrl+C, or use the BREAK command.
