Linux 2.6.9-064 Kernel using the SiL0680 ATA-133 IDE controller with DMA turned on

With the un-official (and still experimental) Linux Kernel 2.6.9-064 using the SiL0680 ATA-133 IDE controller with DMA turned on, the following initialisation processes occur before before the user can log in (extracted from /var/log/syslog):
