Despite all of the hype concerning the P128, B128 and BX256, the C-128 was eventually delivered. Perceived as the next logical
step from the C64 rather than the PET series, the C-128 had full C-64 compatibility using the MOS 6510 microprocessor with 40
columns and, or in C-128 mode it could use the MOS 8502 microprocessor with 80 columns, or in CP/M mode it could use the Zilog Z80A
microprocessor with 80 columns.
